We registered this domain in 2008 for Vanilla Restaurant as we noticed they started using our name (Vanilla) after we had been operating with this name for more than 7 years. We agreed with the owner at the time that they would trade using the name Vanilla Restaurant, which later we learned was unfortunately not the case as their advertising and promotional material use only the name Vanilla.

In July 2011 the restaurant was sold and despite many efforts to contact the owners they never responded and were not available over a period of five months to December. The bills were ignored and the efforts to collect outstanding debt was similarly not responded to. As such the domain expired and we have registered it in our name in order to protect our name.
